The 5 cheapest notebooks based upon Core i5-2410M

We have compiled here a list of the cheapest notebooks based upon the Intel core i5-2410M processors. Notice that the cheapest also does not mean the best. You will have to take in to account other factors including the features on the notebooks and the manufacturers’ reputation in quality. Sony and Toshiba, for example are more trusted names in the quality ( and therefore, people are ready to pay a premium for these). The HP, Dell and Lenovo are next best names though Dell suffers from poor customers satifaction level ( calls to land to outsourced countries and problems get rarely resolved).

Thinkpad Edge E520 11433FU

This 15.6 inch LED noteboos is one of the few notebooks available at amazon for under $600 ( To be precise $569 at the time of writing). Comes with 4 GB DDR3 RAM and 500 GB Hard disk.

Acer AS5750-6634

If you can rely upon the Acer’s Brand name – the model number AS5750-6634 from Acer is yet another under $600 notebook that give you an extra 2 GB of memory ( 6 GB in total). This could be something hard to resist. It has a larger 640 GB hard disk.

Dell Inspiron i15RN-7296DBK

Dell’s Inspiron i15RN-7296DBK is slightly expensive, but, it still manages to get it under $600. There is nothing special in this. Make sure you buy new and not a refurbished one.

Sony VAIO VPC-EG13FX/B

The Sony’s Vaio is not the least expensive but if you have experience with the Sony laptops and have ever got the chance to compare the quality of the notebooks with others, you will find the difference. The VPC-EG13FX/B is about $100 or so extra but may be worth. Comes with a smaller 14 inch screen and 4 GB RAM.

HP Probook 4430S
If you can live with a 14 inch screen, HP’s Probook 4430S has a great looking aluminum design and is priced at $649.
