The iCON 401 wireless USB modem from Nova Media offers worldwide coverage with the upload speeds of up to 5.76Mbps. Microsoft revealed BlueTrack, a new mouse-tracking technology that the software giant claims is more precise than existing laser and optical mice, and works on more surfaces as well. BlueTrack uses a blue light beam sensor that is four times the size of the typical laser mouse’s beam, and integrates with a Microsoft-desgined tracking sensor. Microsoft has fitted two futuristic-looking mice with BlueTrack tech: the Explorer Mouse and Explorer Mini Mouse. Both products are wireless and come with little USB receivers that snap into the bottom of the mouse. The BlueTrack-equipped Explorer Mouse will retail for $99.95, and the Explorer Mini for $79.95.

Netgear is bundling a few of its wireless 802.11n products together so one can add 5GHz wireless n speed to an existing network. This bundle is called the Netgear Wireless-N Upgrade Kit (WNEB3100) and pricing is set around $150.
The Netgear Wireless-N Upgrade Kit (WNEB3100) consists of Netgear’s 5GHz Wireless-N HD Access Point (WNHDE111) and RangeMax Dual-Band Wireless-N Adapter (WNDA3100). Netgear says this kit lets you quickly get 802.1n 5Ghz wireless up and running by plugging the WNHDE111 into an existing router or gateway. Adding it to an existing 802.11b/g network will, in effect, give you a dual-band network.
Features of the Netgear Wireless-N Upgrade Kit (WNEB3100) include Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS), pre-configured security, network bridge functionality and USB connectivity to connect to computers. It is available now.

LG Electronics launches its 2.5-inch portable hard disk drive ‘XD1′ in Korea market. Coming in Red Wine and Black Pearl colors, the XD1 features a stylish design with sunrise gradation. Equipped with a SATA II interface, it is available either USB 2.0 type or USB + e-SATA combo type.
Suggested price is between 90,000(KRW) and 170,000(KRW) according to the capacity ranging from 120GB to 320GB.

HP reveal three new Photosmart printers that include an allegedly record-setting model. The A630’s is the largest of any totable photo printer and allows upwards of 300 potential editing touches to be made to photos on the printer itself; a simpler A530 model goes with a smaller screen but is characterized as the least expensive photo printer capable of larger 5-by-7 inch prints. Both optionally support Bluetooth for cameraphones and similarly wireless devices, and will arrive in August for prices of $149 for the A630 and $99 for the A530.
The Photosmart D5460 upgrades earlier multi-function models and prints both photos as well as “laser-quality” text documents, according to HP. It also prints labels directly to supporting CDs and DVDs.
