The Taiwan-based manufacturer Foxconn releases a new barebone desktop PC which is dubbed as the R11S2MI-BA. This computer supports an Intel Atom 230 (MiniITX motherboard), an Intel 945GC chipset, 2GB of DDR2, and CF/SD/MS card slot. You can purchase this barebone PC from December 6th onwards for 14,800 Yen (€120).

Other features and specifications include 1TB 7,200rpm SATA-II hard-drive, Intel 80GB SSD, eight USB 2.0 ports, two eSATA ports, FireWire connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI via a DVI-HDMI dongle and DVD burner or an optional Blu-ray drive.
