
LG Electronics released its 10-inch mini notebook pc ‘Xnote MINI(model:X110)’ in Korea market, which features its all-in-one body color available in pink, white and black.
Powered by Intel Atom processor and Windows XP operating system, the Xnote MINI adopts 160GB HDD, 1GB DDR2 memory and a 10-inch LCD display with WSVGA(1024*600) resolution and LED back light. Weighing 1.19kg, the Xnote MINI supports a 1.3M webcam, 4-in-1 memory slot, 54Mbps wireless LAN and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.

Sony will release the next generation of their Sony Vaio NS laptop series that comes equipped with Blu-ray combo drive. Available in blue, gray, and white, the desktop replacement features an Intel 4500 integrated graphics chipset, Blu-ray combo drive, A/V menu, Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz processor, 3GB RAM, 250GB hard drive, and a built-in webcam. The new Sony Vaio NS will be available this Fall 2008 for $650 upwards, depending on the configuration.

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X200 12 inch ultraportable notebook has been unveiled today. Weighing at 2.9 pounds, the laptop will be powered by Intel’s Centrino 2 platform that consumes for only 25 watts while operating. Other features include a huge 200GB hard drive, three USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot and a 1.3MP webcam. cam. The leak doesn’t indicate when Lenovo is most likely to ship, though the report explains that Centrino 2 isn’t expected to appear any earlier than mid-July and thus puts the introduction off for another month or more.

The new KL-PC701 is another Asus Eee-PC competitor. The UMPC comes equipped with a 7 inch true color screen at 800 x 480 resolution, XBurst 400 Mhz 32-bit processor, Linux 2.4 operating system, 10M/100M Ethernet connectivity, Wi-Fi connectivity, 128MB of RAM, 512MB NAND flash memory, SD memory card slot and a USB 2.0 port. The price tag is $195 each, but you should purchase at least a hundred units to get that price.
