We chose to review Gateway Nv55c26u, as it is one of the best notebooks from the specification perspective available under $700 at bestbuy. The Gateway Nv55c26u is powered by Intel Core i5-460M processor which is a dual core processor at nominal clock frequency of 2.53 GHz. The core i5 processors provide turbo boost, the main reason why they are better than the similarly clocked core i3 processor. The turbo boost is a brilliant idea, which improves the processor clock when it so demands. Turbo boost emulates the real life computing environment.

If you are a tech savvy, we encourage you to read the Intel core i5-460M processor review. In short, its performance it reasonably better than the similarly clocked core i3 and much better than the similarly clocked earlier Intel core 2 processors.
