Two things makes HTC HD2 phone a class apart from the others – a stunning 4.3″ spectacular display and a fast 1GHz processor. The HTC HD2 is a uses Windows Mobile 6.5 as its operating system and is one of the best Windows Mobile Phone. It does look like HTC has applied special efforts and has made this mobile from ground up.

The 4.3 inch LCD makes this phone a class apart from the other phones. The phone has a capacitive touch screen with muti touch capability. This is different from the resistive touchscreen in which simultaneous detection of two touches is not possible. This helps in browsing, zooming webpages and in viewing pictures. The experience is very close to what iPhone has.

With HTC, you can get instant access to facebook and twitter updates. Though Windows looks good, the phone could have been smoother and faster with Android.

Technically, the phone has  Snapdragon 1GHz processor should also keep things fast. The phone has a 5 megapixels which would not have been possible without a powerful process.

If we leave these minor hiccups, the  HTC HD2 is one of the best Windows Mobile 6.5 phone available today. Its spectacular screen, 5 megapixel camera, makes is worth considering.

The HD2 is so hard to get hold of in the UK nowadays. It’s a shame because it’s possibly the best of the Windows 6.5 phones. It’s the one I always found the most practical anyway. I know you can buy refurb units from MobiCity and one or two other places around here, but getting your hands on new HD2s in bulk at a reasonable price is so difficult.

I was just wondering if people could tell me what sort of quality you can expect from a refurbished model? I’m not expecting them to be sparkling but would appreciate something functional and decent in appearance…
