Vodafone is eager to jump on the Android bandwagon with a firm grip and another Android handset that ‘might’ be available at Vodafone stores shortly could be the Huawei manufactured Joy. If the rumor is to be believed, it is the same handset which Vodafone brands as the 845 and the relatively smallish device will come with Android Eclair (2.1) on board. The rest of the spec sheet is fairly ordinary as the Joy will feature a 3.2MP camera and a a 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display.
Other standard features on this Android handset will include connectivity for WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and support for triband GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 900/1800/1900 MHz and dualband UMTS/HSDPA at 900/2100 MHz.
With Android Eclair functional in there, the users will also get to enjoy Google goodies like Gmail, Google Maps and the Android Market. The device will supposedly be available in the IInd Quarter this year but the price of this Android handset is still unrevealed. [Courtesy: Nexus404]
