LG a few days ago announced that is going to release a new Android phone exclusively sold through China Mobile, the GW880.Know as Amundsen, after South Pole explorer Roald Amundsen, the Amundsen runs on China’s TD-SCDMA network and sports a 3.5-inch, 800×480 touchscreen, along with a GPS receiver, Bluetooth, and a 5-megapixel camera.
Despite the announcement, LG hasn’t released a price for the LG Amundsen, though the smartphone is expected to come to China Mobile before the end of November. There is no word if or when LG will bring the device to other markets.
