Microsoft Windows Mobile store can remote-delete applications

Microsoft has said that it can delete an application downloaded in Windows mobile phones if the approved application is pulled back later. And this operation will have no consent from the user. Microsoft announced the remotely delete application system in the presentation of Tech-Ed conference held in New Zealand.

A similar kind of controversy has already been encountered by the users when Amazon deleted books from Kindles remotely without the consent of users. Amazon had to do so since the contents published were done illegally. Later, Amazon retracted the users by compensation. But Microsoft has not explained about the compensation factor or replacing the deleted one’s with a newer and approved application.
