Orders for Nook mobile pushed back

The initial delay for the launch of the Nook mobile has been hampered by another bad news of the launch being delayed further. The pre orders also have been pushed back to January, 11th, 2010. This news comes less than a week of the announcement of the first delay and there has been no explanation provided for it. Amazon has already promised to sell the IOU cards to those people whose Nooks it will ship after Christmas.

Nobody knows why there are repeated expanding delays for the product. One reason could be due to sheer increasing demand and tight supply. Amazon had to face a shortage for the first two holiday seasons of Kindle sales but it has still all models in stock this year. The Nook from Barnes and Nobles is a technically complex phone and it also has a touchscreen and Wi-Fi.
