We had always been hearing about the rivalries among the siblings. The Palm Pre demonstrates a perfect example of the same. The Pixi seems to be having a tough life after having launched at a price point which makes it no more sensible when the Pre would be available at the same price via third-party channels. After having reduced the price of Palm’s webOS device to just 25$ on contract, Amazon announced the new price of the Pre just two days later. The later would be available at a mere cost of $79.99 with a 2-year contract and in addition, the $36 activation fee has also been waived off.
