Verizon has been aggressively looking for more phones under its arm for its LTE (Lont Term Evolution) network. It has been aggressively looking for more collaborators that it can work with and showcase the use of its LTE systes. The 4G LTE sopectrum poromises greater bandwidth typically great for video conferencing and other. The Samsung SCH-1520 becomes the latest phone that Verizon has added to the list of its LTE offering increasing further the number of people adating it.

Notice that unless Verizon gets a really large number of people adapting its 4G, it will not be able to justify the investment it made in the LTE. The Samsung SCH-1520 LTE handset is just one part of it.

Samsung SCH-1520 seems to come up with the Android 2.2.1, even though more later Android 2.2 Froyo and the latest Android 2.3 Gingerbird versions have come to the market.

It is expected that the Samsung SCH-1520 will be part of the CES 2011 that stars in the first week of January in Las Vegas. It will be interesting to see how people take up the new Samsung SCH-1520 LTE handset. Stay tuned for more information.
