Samsung Transform Mobile:

The Samsung Transform his amazing smart phone with excellent design, great call quality, front-facing camera and other interesting features. The Transform has some unique features with medium sized touch screen, rear and front facing camera and slide-out QWERTY keyboard at decent price. It comes along with new Sprint ID packs that help in configuration of preset profiles including widgets and themes, application shortcuts, email settings and home screen.
The short battery life and sluggishness are some minor drawbacks with Transform though it delivers excellent call quality and has an appealing design. The phone operates with Android 2.1 operating system and will be later upgraded to 2.2 in future. Costing around 149.99 dollars for a 2-year service agreement and with mail-in rebate of 100 dollars, Transform is definitely a fruitful purchase but personally i love the Sony Ericsson X10 available at Phones4u.

The design is pretty good with black, glossy finish and rounded edges which are very similar to Epic 4G from Samsung. The dimensions are 4.6×2.4x.6 inches and the phone weighs around 5.4 ounces giving a good solid feel when you hold it in your hands. The QWERTY keyboard makes the phone somewhat thick in your pockets, but it is good to use. The touch screen display is 3.5 inches and the phone includes a VGA camera in front side for making video calls.
There has been lot of improvement with touch screen from Samsung especially with Galaxy S services having Super AMOLED displays. But such high-end configuration is not available with mid-range phones like this, but the HVGA 3.5 inch touch screen display with native resolution of 480×320 pixels supports up to 16 million colors. The vibrancy, clarity and brightness are very good and the responsiveness of the touch screen is also smooth. Taking self-portraits and making video calls is easy with the VGA camera in front. There is a dedicated button for camera in right spine along with power and voice command control. The 3.5mm headphone jack and volume rocker are present in left spine while micro-USB port for charging is present on top of the phone. The rear side has 3.2 megapixel cameras along with flash which is square shaped and looks very neat. The soft touch finish on rear side gives comfort while holding the phone in your hands. The phone includes a micro SD slot which allows you to expand memory up to 32GB and it ships default with 2GB memory card. The QWERTY keyboard is easy to use and user interface is very smooth. The battery life is somewhat low for smart phone and has standby time of 14.6 days with 6 hours talk time. Overall, Transform is very good choice for people who wish to buy midrange smart phone with cool features.
