Sony Ericsson announces the XPERIA X2

Today Sony Ericsson announces the XPERIA X2 a new Windows phone that offers a best in class email and multimedia experience.The smartphone has a new SlideView feature, which offers “quick access to frequently used phone activities”.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 comes with Xperia panels – 14 are preloaded, and other 16 are available for download. The panels include Skype, Google, Mytopia, CNN, Windows Live, games and so on.

Here are the main specs and features of Sony Ericsson Xperia X2:

  • Tri-band UMTS/HSPA connectivity (900/1900/2100 MHz, or 850/1900/2100 MHz for the X2a)

The new Xperia X2 will be commercially available starting early Q4. It will come in two color versions (Elegant Black and Modern Silver) for a price that was not announced but if you want to save some money when you buy your new handset then get free sim cards which will save you money instead of having to buy them yourself.
