While the US arrival of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is a lingering mystery, the good news is that the Rogers Wireless subscribers across the border can grab the Sony Ericsson Android Flagship on contract. The smartphone was up for pre-order until date but the status has now been changed to available on the Rogers Website. On a three-year contract deal with the carrier, the Xperia X10 will be available for an affordable $149.99
Shortening the contract term to two years will mean that the subscribers will have to pay more money at $449.99, while a single year term with the Xperia X10 will cost $499.99. There are the types who hate contracts and for them, Rogers will offer the X10 contract free at $549.99.
Xperia X10 is the current Android flagship model for SE and it runs on Android 1.6 Plus. The Android version may not be the fastest or the latest one of the lot, but then the smartphone is blessed with other goodies such as Snapdragon (1GHz) processor, an 8.1 megapixel camera with 16x digital zoom and LED flash and a 3.5mm audio jack.
