Best Buy is one of the best known stores for the high end electronics, gadgets, notebooks and LCD displays. This year Best Buy has the Sony VAIO VPCEB3AFM/WI in the list of items on sale on the Black Friday on November 26, 2010 in its door buster sale from 5 AM to 11 AM. Before becoming too much excited about this notebook, you may like to note that there is very limited likelyhood of getting this notebook, as , it will be offered in very limited quantity in each store.

Sony VAIO VPCEB3AFM/WI Processor

Sony VAIO VPCEB3AFM/WI is powered by 2.0 GHz dual core Pentium processor P6100. The Pentium P6100 is a nice processor based upon the Arrandale architecture, the same architecture that powers the intel core i3 processors. It means that there is integrated memory controller and fast DMI bus for communication to the chipset, leading to fast overall performance. The Pentium P6100 has 3 MB of cache. When compared to the Core i3 processors, the Pentium P6100 does not support Hyperthreading. The performance of Pentium P6100 is better that the similarly clocked Intel Core 2 processor, because of the improvement in the architecture.

Sony VAIO VPCEB3AFM/WI RAM and Hard Disk

Sony VAIO VPCEB3AFM/WI comes with 3 GB of RAM. You can of course extend it to 4 GB by preferring to take the higher end model. The hard disk in Sony VAIO VPCEB3AFM/WI is 320 GB. You may however, like to note that the hard disk is of 5400 rpm type and not the 7200 rpm type. The Sony VAIO VPCEB3AFM/WI also come with a DVD writer.
