Of all names, we weren’t expecting TVLogic to jump on the bandwagon of future displays this quickly. Nonetheless, we appreciate the effort TV Logic has put in over a period of time and the result shows in the form of its uber futuristic 56-inch LUM-560W 4K x 2K LCD. We surely thought that 4K by 2K displays will not happen for a while but TVLogic had other ideas in mind.
The brand left every by stander shell shocked at the NAB 2010 who were witnessing the first 4k by 2k display toned down to this size and very well connected at the same time.
This 56″ Quad HD 4K LCD monitor is based on a 10-bit 1.07 million color LCD panel and it sports an astounding 4K (3,840 x 2,160) quad-HD resolution.
Just to ensure that a user can achieve proper color alignment, the 560W comes with TVLogic Color Calibration Utility. As far as the input options are concerned, LUM-560W gets four 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs, an equal number of 3G/HD/SD-SDI outputs, a quartet of HDMI inputs as well as DVI-I inputs.
There is no word on the pricing of this product but given the novelty it is, the TVLogic LUM-560W will surely be an expensive baby. [Courtesy: iTechnews]
