Vestro V13 is powerful and yet affordable and still anorexic

Dell currently holds records for the worlds two thinnest computers and is currently going at it again with teh Vestro V13.

While the ultraportable is yet to be official on Dell’s U.S site, its Singapore website has let the details slip on the forthcoming Vestro V13 which will weight only 3.5 pounds and be 0.65 inches thick.

Specs include a 1.2GHz Celeron, 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo or 1.4GHz Core 2 Solo processor options. The screen is only 13.3 inches wide and is WLED LED-backlit. 4GB of DDR3 RAM is standard and Intel Integrated Graphics GMA 4500MHD is running the show. Storage is set at up to 500GB of hard disk space and can come in either 5400 or 72oo rpm STAT setups.

Expansion slots include Ethernet, USB, eSATA/USB, audio in/out, SD card slot and ExpressCard slot. WiFi 802.11n as well as Bluetooth 2.1 are wireless options. All this will be fitted in an aluminum casing that is bound to stun. External hard drive options are avialable and price is set at $450.
