The iPad will not be available globally at the end of this month and the availability should be expected somewhere close to May 10 but that hasn’t deterred the major carriers in UK and elsewhere from readying their iPad related plans. Though none of the carriers-Vodafone, O2, Orange, Rogers- have revealed conclusive details, almost all of them have hinted that they eagerly await the iPad arrival and they will be offering this product globally and not just in the UK.

The readers would have understandably preferred details as to how much data will be offered for what amount of money, but that revelation will have to wait until the iPad arrives.

Talking about specific carriers, Vodafone will offer the iPad in Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK while Orange will be ready with its iPad plans in France, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. O2 will be the only carrier to restrict the iPad availability to the UK. [Courtesy: Moconews]
